KEMBLA Grange trainer Paul Murray has redesigned Predatory Pricer's spring campaign because of the delayed Listed Ming Dynasty Quality (1400m), which will be run at Rosehill today.

The half-brother to Takeover Target will go into the race fresh after waiting a week for the Ming Dynasty, which was originally to be run at Randwick last Saturday.

"He was ready to go last week and really it has stuffed up his program because he won't be able to go to Newcastle for the Spring Stakes (next Wednesday)," Murray said.

"He needs to have this 1400m run and it means we will have to run him in the Gloaming (Stakes) next week if we are going to the Spring Champion.

"I can't believe they didn't put this race (at Randwick) on Tuesday with other Group races because it has stuffed everyone around." Predatory Pricer is a $9 chance in the TAB Sportsbet market headed by Gai Waterhouse's Dreamscape.

Dreamscape, who won the Up And Coming Stakes at his only start, was at $2.90 with Caymans ($4.40) and Whitefriars ($4.80) also in the frame.

Murray believes with a touch of luck Predatory Pricer, whose only win came in a Kembla maiden, will challenge the big names.

"My bloke hasn't been out of the stewards report in any of his three starts," Murray said.

"He has been smashed out of the barrier every time, so I'm quite happy to be out in (barrier) 11.

"He is very fresh and I think at this stage he needs to be for 1400m.

"If he gets the speed on and a trouble-free run there is no doubt that he will be there at the finish. I still think he is a miler and above, so he will be charging home."
