SYMBIO Wildlife Park has outdone itself this spring.
This year the park has produced a bevy of beautiful babies, from tiny scrawny parrots to fuzzy koala joeys, but it hasn't all been plain sailing.Despite breeding successfully for a number of seasons, one of Symbio's golden brushtail possums temporarily changed her mind about being a mum.She rejected her tiny baby when it was just two to three weeks old and was found by keepers on the floor of the enclosure.Only the size of a 20? coin, the little possum was hand-reared before being carefully reintroduced to its mother. The park is also celebrating a bumper crop of cute koala joeys with three of the cuddly babies emerging from the safety of their mothers' pouches. The park has also welcomed the arrival of baby parrots and meerkats, pythons, goats, sheep, kangaroos and pigs and is expecting more births throughout spring.
